On August 19, 2008, The Africa Society partnered with the Travel Channel for the premiere of Botswana: The President's Tour featuring former President Festus G. Mogae, who attended this event at The World Bank. The Africa Society, Travel Channel, The World Bank and Merck & Co. partnered for the premiere of the Botswana film, which received very favorable reviews. This marks the third collaboration between The Africa Society and the Travel Channel for the groundbreaking Presidential Tour Series. Botswana: The President's Tour will air on September 15 at 8:00 p.m. and September 16 at 12:00 a.m. (EST) on the Travel Channel.
