The Africa Society is Honored with an African Diaspora Bridge Builders Award

The Africa Society was honored by the (AU) Diaspora African Forum, and the Diaspora African Forum Foundation (DC), with an “African Diaspora Bridge Builders” award.  The award was presented during an evening of celebration at a dinner on August 4, 2014, at The Marriott Hotel at Metro Center in Washington, DC.  The African Diaspora Bridge Builders is an esteemed honor reserved for countries, organizations and/or individuals who have made specific contributions toward strengthening relationships and building a bridge of communication,education, and development on behalf of Africa and America.
