Volunteer Opportunity
The Africa Society offers its volunteers the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience in a wide range of issues pertaining to Africa through various innovative educational programs including.
Major Responsibilities of the Volunteer:
- Co-represent The Africa Society at all events
- Prepare materials for events
- Provide administrative support to the staff
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be dependable and willing to commit a minimum of 20 hours per event
- Possess a good educational background
- Be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be a good team player
All Volunteers receive modest honoraria and a letter of recommendation
from The Africa Society.
