Volunteer Opportunity

The Africa Society offers its volunteers the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience in a wide range of issues pertaining to Africa through various innovative educational programs including.

Major Responsibilities of the Volunteer:
  • Co-represent The Africa Society at all events
  • Prepare materials for events
  • Provide administrative support to the staff
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must be dependable and willing to commit a minimum of 20 hours per event
  • Possess a good educational background
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be a good team player

All Volunteers receive modest honoraria and a letter of recommendation from The Africa Society.
